Formerly SWIFT TORPEDO, Stevie has been purchased to run at the reopening Towcester Racecourse.
Torpedo has recorded a 17.85 sprint trial at Newbridge and a more recent 29.06 over the 480m, both excellent times for 17-month old pup. Dam Swift Foundry has produced Henlow Puppy Derby winner Azzurri Genesis and multiple open-race winners in previous litters.
Shares are available for a one-off payment of £99 with no kennel fees. He will be trained by Laurence Tuffin, one of the two trainers whose kennels will be housed within the racecourse itself.
Stevie has been named in the memory of syndicate member, the late Steve Mann.
An exciting move for Towstar's as we venture into the Irish Racing world. Trainer Margaret Bolton's father was impressed enough by this Droopys Roddick pup's trial for us to buy this lad for the syndicate. We have 50 shares of 2% available for €200 /£175 with no kennel fees.
We're anxious to get this lad to the track with him being our first Irish trained runner and we look forward to 2020 with this pup.
These pups are fantastically bred out of HIYA BUTT and MRS ROO. ROO is a daughter of the great BALLYMAC ESKE and an early daughter to have her first litter.
HIYA BUTT ran in many English derbys and reached the final in 2016 and 2017, Only narrowly being beaten by DROOPYS RODDICK and JAYTEE JET.
MRS ROO was runner up in the golden jacket (714m)to shotgun bullet, beating many category one winners on the way to the final. MRS ROO has a rating of 123 and HIYA BUTT 141.
These pups are bred to have superb early pace and also bred to stay, as demonstrated by MRS ROO who would have undoubtedly gone on to be a major player in the marathon scene if her career wasn’t ended early by injury. This is a really exciting first litter, and they genuinely could be anything.
Priced at a one-off £75 with no kennel fees, or a £30 deposit + 2x £25 payments, it is yet to be decided which trainer this pup will be running for.
Towstar Boris, previous form under the name Banbas Crown, is another new addition to the Towstars team. Already a winner at Henlow in a time of 28:15, this Droopys Nidge pup is not one to miss. We're moving him to Romford where brother Not So Tardo is an open-class winner, and other littermates also run on the graded ladder there. He will run for trainer Jean Liles. Shares are available at 1% for £60 with NO month kennel fee.
This gorgeous girl arrived at Mark Wallis' kennels not long ago. She's been flying in unofficial trials in Ireland and comes highly recommended by the champion trainer. Shares are available for £250 per 5% + kennel fees.
Zelda has turned in to a real a strong stayer, getting the marathon distances. Another with champion trainer Mark Wallis, she's not to be missed out on. 1% shares in Zelda are available for a £50 one-off fee with no kennel fees.
Winston is now a five-time winner round the tough Henlow circuit and has recently made the step up in to open company at the track. Shares in Towstar Winston are available at a one-off £50 with no kennel fees.
