November update

Another up and down month for the syndicate, 10 winners this month, with the highlight being a £500 trophy win for TOWSTAR BILLY at Romford and the low being TOWSTAR FREDDIE breaking down during a trial at Nottingham, he has had successful surgery and only time will tell if he can make a successful return to the track.

This month has also seen the Oaks start at Swindon and we had hoped to see two of our girls compete after a successful trial for TOWSTAR VIXEN at the track we went to the trail stakes, sadly on the morning of the race Vixen had developed a cough and had to be withdrawn from the race and also the Oaks itself.

TOWSTAR CIARA did manage to make an appearance for trainer KEV HUTTON and after back to back races she was made 9/4 fav for her first round, after being held in the traps a while she missed the break and could only finish 5th, great to be involved in this top competition.

TOWSTAR EVITA managed to get her head in front at HENLOW after a string of 2nds and it was a well deserved win for her in an A8, TOWSTAR WINSTON was only beaten a head on his comeback and Henlow has also seen one of our new additions to the syndicate TOWSTAR IZZY start her trials, Izzy is currently very green in the traps, but showing some impressive pace and she will be exciting to watch in the new year and perhaps may be our first runner at the reopening TOWCESTER track shares are still available.

Thursday sees the start of the NORTHERN PUPPY DERBY @ NEWCASTLE and we will be represented by the JIMMY FENWICK trained TOWSTAR QUEENIE, a step up in class it might be, but our girl is areal battler and again its nice to see the syndicate represented in this type of event.

TOWSTAR ZELDA had a serious of races at both CRAYFORD and ROMFORD in hot races and just found a few too good for her recently, so she is having a well earned couple of weeks off.

TOWSTAR POPPY has shown improved form since having her season and is running with a lot more maturity now at NOTTINGHAM for ANNELIESE THOMPSON, at SHEFFIELD we are still waiting to see TOWSTAR OREO hit the track, after some nice trials he has been so unlucky with picking up kennel sickness on a couple of occasions, we wont be seeing the real Oreo till next year and he still isn't 2 yet so plenty of time and fun to be had with him, shares are still available in him at £150 for 5%.

TOWSTAR YOGI has had a handslip and also a trial whilst held in the traps at the ASKERN schooling track, he has already looked very impressive in the work we have seen and a litter mate of his has already done a superb trial at POOLE so its very exciting to see what both he and our other new pup and litter mate TOWSTAR LES for EMMA RICHARDS can do in 2020 and beyond.

In the last week and just in time for Christmas, we managed to add to further dogs to the TOWSTARS, PATS CHARM will be our first ever runner in IRELAND, for 2nd in the trainer table for 2019 MARGARET BOLTON, Margaret has been well schooled by her father Tommy and it was Tommy that recommended the JULY 18 pup and we are very excited to see how he gets on, hes already had a trial at SHELBOURNE PARK in an unofficial time of 29.66, share are starting to sell already for 200 euro (£170) for a 2% share with no further kennel fees.

ROMFORD is our 2nd new track and Banbas Crown is another new addition to the Towstars team. Already a winner at Henlow in a time of 28:15, this Droopys Nidge pup is not one to miss. We're moving him to Romford where brother Not So Tardo is an open-class winner, and other littermates also run on the graded ladder there. He will run for trainer Jean Liles. Shares are available at 5% for £100 with a £10 a month kennel fee.

Finally our brood girl TOWSTAR LUCY'S pups are doing great and we have chosen our own from the litter that will be our first home bred pup for the syndicate.

Just want to remind members and non members that we are still running our now very popular bonus ball game, tickets are £10 for 5 draws, 59 balls are sold and 5 prizes of various shares in dogs are up for grabs, top prize this month will be a 2% share in the new Irish puppy!! if you haven't played before please get in touch for further details.

Kind regards and thanks for reading.
