its been one of the most exciting periods at the syndicate recently and we are set to have an exciting summer ahead.
Firstly we had the exciting start of Towstar Freddie’s career at Hove, where our new young kid on the block won back to back open races by fairly wide margins to give him a shot at entering the Sussex cup, unfortunately Freddie drew the hardest draw in the competition (coming up against the winner and runner up from last year) but was far from disgraced coming 5th only a few lengths behind the winner and never getting a run at all, the future looks very bright for Freddie!
We shall also have to look forward to seeing his sister hit the track in the next few weeks, she is currently off the track due to season but we are expecting great things from TOWSTAR VIXEN, shares are still available in this girl formerly known as Long Cleopatra.
Also this weekend we agreed the purchase of a 14 month old girl named Passionate, in her first official trial at Newbridge she clocked 29:65 which for one so young shows tons of potential, she’s going to be our first dog to be attached to the NEWCASTLE track and will be trained by JIMMY FENWICK, Jimmy needs no introduction as one of the leading trainers up north, shares are just £110 for 5% with a small kennel fee and a payout of prize money once kennel fees are paid.
Towstar XENA ran a cracker to win a D2 last week at Monmore and it’s great to see the EMMA RICHARDS kennel still firing in the winners for us.
We have had our usual supply of winners from the Mark Wallis kennel where WINSTON ran really well to win a graded race and ZELDA has been a bit unlucky not to pick up a race or 2 recently she’s had a bit of seconditus recently.
I am currently looking at other new tracks to get involved at as the Towstar bandwagon grows further pace and we plan to have a social event at NOTTINGHAM this summer to see our girls Poppy and Vixen on the track.
All in all a busy summer ahead, hope everyone enjoys there racing!
