19/2/19 weekly update.

I cannot remember a week where we haven't had a winner, but last week was the week!

We had a good second place from TOWSTAR DELBOY on saturday at Henlow, but EVITA, KANYE, WINSTON and BLUE MOON weren't able to build on recent success but most importantly they have come off sound.

Thursday was a great day for the syndicate as it saw the reappearance of TOWSTAR JESS and TOWSTAR BILLY both with successful handslips and also a cracking trial from TOWSTAR ZELDA after her season (shares still available in her for just £60!).

TOWSTAR POPPY had her first trial in with other dogs on Friday night at Nottingham and won her trial by 10 lengths!!

We were all really excited to see TOWSTAR RUBY back on track on Sunday after her red card she received last year, but sadly despite running a very promising 2nd place she was disqualified from racing again for turning her head on the final bend, it was a huge shame for her syndicate owners as she had HUGE promise, she will now be retired and re homed potentially after shes had a litter of pups as she really was a prospect, but sadly that is racing and these things happen, but we shall make sure that her welfare and retirement is well looked after.

In other news WINSTON (shares remaining) runs this evening at Henlow, DELBOY runs on Thursday and EVITA is on Fridays cards all at Henlow.

**** STOP PRESS****

We are REALLY EXCITED to announce that DREAM FAIRY trained by top trainer KEV HUTTON has joined the syndicate, this will be our first dog with Kev who is one of the top trainers in the sport and has very high hopes for this b1tch (he even included her in his top 10 dogs to follow for 2019!)

Kev had this to say about her.....

Dream Fairy is a November 16 b1tch by Laughil Blake x Fandango.

Fairy always looked special after qualifying in 29.43 at Thurles in her very first 525 yard trial and was kept for the Monbeg Unraced b1tch stake in Enniscorthy.

She didn't disappoint in the first round when leading all the way to beat the highly regarded Droopys Chimes in 28.73 which is a very special debut.

Fairy was an unlucky in running 2nd to Droppys Chimes (who had been purchased for big money by Pat Buckley after the first round) in the semi-final but safely made it through to the final.

Fairy flew the lids to win the unraced final in 28.78 and really looked a great prospect.

She then switched to Shelbourne Park for an A1 (4th race of her life) but was all but put on the floor out of the boxes.

Fairy then went against the best b1tches Ireland had to offer in the Munster Oaks at Waterford and took the huge step up in class well as she finished 2nd in her first round heat. She was only beaten 1 length to Droopys Alice and posted 28.74.

Unfortunately Fairy was very badly crowded in her semi-final and came off with a strained elbow which needed 3 weeks off. Thankfully she broke into season at the perfect time shortly afterwards and was given plenty of time to recover and settle in with us.

Fairy recorded a very pleasing 16.55 at Swindon in her first spin since her semi-final run despite losing her way badly at the bend.

Fairy delighted us with a 16.38 solo sprint at Swindon two weeks after her first trial. She ran the track much better but still hasn't quite got the hang of the boxes there. She'll be stepped up to 480m next week and really does look pure open class

*** Update - Fairy broke into season shortly after her latest sprint trial and will be off around 8 weeks before returning to action. The maiden derby at Henlow (early indications say it'll be run in March as a Cat One event) will be an ideal target for her.

Shares are available as follows.....

10% share for £700 with £30 a month kennel fee. (Prize money paid out 2-3 times a year if available)

5% share for £350 with £15 a month kennel fee (Prize money paid out 2-3 times a year if available)

1% ONE OFF FEE of £110 no further kennel fees to pay. (Prize money divided upon retirement)

This is a very exciting purchase for the syndicate as we continue to try and offer good quality dogs at affordable prices and we hope that DREAM FAIRY can compete at the highest level, she has been bought to go Open racing.

Hope everyone has a great weeks racing and stay safe and sound!
